What are expeditions and how does scheduling work?
- expeditions are one on one adventures between your dog and Jasmine.
- Each experience is tailored to the independent needs and fulfillment of each dog.
- examples may be long leash at a park, walks on nature trails, being around people at pet friendly stores, pup cups, sniff spots, etc.
- dogs are picked up from their home at the start time, go through their expedition, and are dropped off back at home at the ending time designated.
- treats will be given during this time, so if your dog has any food allergies or sensitivities, please let me know so I may request special treats from you or prepare an alternative to our standard collection of usage.
- Scheduling is a routine, so whichever you are hoping to choose will be a weekly expectation
- Day of the week, am/pm slot, etc
- this creates consistency for both the handler and the dog
- We schedule 3 months out after the probation period is complete (first month-ish) to ensure your spot is saved
- please let me know a month in advance when you are planning to discontinue a day of the service or the service all together; this ensures enough time to find an attempted replacement for those times, when your dog is no longer need of them. Failure to do this may result in a full or partial payment.
- There will be times where I am responsible for the well being of animals who are difficult to leave alone at all or for a longer period of time, this may affect regularly scheduled outings for your pet on those days. If this is the case, this will be communicated to you to schedule make up days or save money (not pay for those days) for alternative arrangements.
- Your payment for the month will be due at the start of the month (1st). You pay for June on June 1st.
- Billed per outing, for the month.
- Dogs with major behavioral complications may be required to have specific add ons, preventatives, or time slots to prevent injury, and some may not do well in this program.
- Text or call to set up a profile and meet and greet day, complete the free meet n greet, start with a test day before paying for the month (pay for test day and not the rest of the month if dog fails), continue from there.
Illness and Parasites
- all dogs must be illness and parasite free during and upon start.
- potential exposure from dogs will follow with a safety policy to prevent further spread of outbreaks or conflict.
- all medical issues, illnesses, and parasite history must be shared prior to services for trust and transparency.
- risk factors may change requirements for a specific dog to join regular expeditions.
