Exposure Expeditions

What are expeditions and how does scheduling work?

• Expeditions are 3 hour, 1:1 outings designed specifically for your dog and their individual needs. This is not a group service.
• Each expedition includes pickup and drop off, transportation, treats, toys, play, environmental enrichment, and individualized experiences.

• Some dogs enjoy long, vigorous hikes.
• Some dogs like to go about town.
• Some dogs prefer exploring local parks.

The process:

1.  begins with an in home meet and greet- up to 1 hour (free)
2. followed by a test day- 1.5 hours (charged)
3. and then a probationary period that varies depending on the dog to ensure it is a good fit.
4. Once established, schedules are released quarterly. 
5. January- March
6. April-June
7. July- September
8. October-December
9. please let me know a month in advance when you are planning to discontinue a day of the service or the service all together; this ensures enough time to find an attempted replacement for those times, when your dog is no longer need of them. Failure to do this may result in a full or partial payment.

Availability depends on owner budget and my current booking capacity.

• There will be times where I am responsible for the well being of animals who are difficult to leave alone at all or for a longer period of time, this may affect regularly scheduled outings for your pet on those days. If this is the case, this will be communicated to you to schedule make up days or save money (not pay for those days) for alternative arrangements.
• There may also be times where your dog may have an upcoming procedure, telling me about these ASAP allows me more flexibility to try to work the schedule with you around this. I understand emergencies happen, so these will be handled on a case by case basis.
• Dog's who are in regular daycare may have extra restrictions to these services/ may not be eligible. The safety of EACH client I work with is a priority.
• Your payment for the month will be due at the end of the previous month; You pay for June at the end of May.
• Billed per outing, for the month.
• Dogs with major behavioral complications may be required to have specific add ons, preventatives, or time slots to prevent injury, and some may not do well in this program.
